Though it looks more like a terrifying, sentient, golf ball monster, the La Sphére speaker from Cabasse, is (apparently) a superb high-end speaker. Its spherical design is said to help reduce distortion due to rigidity, it’s also got perfect symmetry and no diffraction which is “…the very essence of the spatial conherency”. Awesome.
At US$150,000 a pair, I don’t think I’ll be struggling to find a lounge decor to compliment the Olympic rings-meets-small death star styling.
